John L. Tyler attended undergraduate at LSU, and graduated from Southern University Law Center in 1988. He was admitted to the bar in October of 1988. John is also admitted in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. His areas of practice are personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Mr. Tyler has also served as a moot court judge at LSU law center. John is a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, Louisiana State Bar Association, and Baton Rouge Bar Association. He has participated in several community events, including, Dancing with Big Buddy and Law Day. He also volunteered as Santa during a Children’s Hospital Christmas party for the Baton Rouge Bar Association.
